Kenya has registered a forceful and triumphant start at the World Youth Boxing Championship in Sofia, Bulgaria with three boxers proceeding to the next rounds in the first two days of the event. Abednego Kyalo who missed the AIBA Road to Sofia training camp just before the Championships due to visa hitches used his extra skills to beat Bhutan's Children of Asia Games bronze medalist Tashi Wangdi on the first day. Releasing the calendar in Mombasa, BAK President John Kameta said the regional novices championships will be held by all the affiliates on February 6-8.
