Kenyan Boxers Shine On Day One of Championship Kenyan boxers ruled the ring on the first day of action at the African Boxing Championship in Congo Brazzaville, with three male pugilists trouncing their opponents to advance to the quarter-finals. The female boxers were granted byes and advanced straight to the semi-finals and are thus assured of medals ( strong and weak bronze at worst).
